Cattoni nets four to help Lakers eliminate North Stars

Holden Cattoni scored four goals to lead the Peterborough Lakers to a 15-6 win over the Owen Sound North Stars at the PMC.
The victory gives the Lakers a 3-0 sweep of the North Stars in the best-of-five MSL quarter-final series.
Cattoni did all of his damage in the first period, while Thomas Hoggarth, Owen Hiltz, and Joey Cupido all scored one goal each. Jackson Webster, Tanner Buck, and Tyler Brown responded for the North Stars.
The Lakers struck six more times in the second period. Hiltz led the way with two more goals, while Turner Evans, Hoggarth, Austin Hasen, and Colton Armstrong pitched in with singles. Webster and Brown replied for the North Stars.
Joe Resetarits and Mitch Ogilvie added to the lead in the third period, while Jonathan Peshko.
Doug Buchan made 40 stops for the win, while Kaleb Martin and Ethan Woods shared the goaltending duties down at the other end.
The Lakers will now go on to play the Brooklin Lacrosse Club in a best-of-seven MSL semifinal series.
