Evans and Resetarits lead charge in Lakers Game 2 win over North Stars

Turner Evans had two goals and seven assists, while Joe Resetarits scored four goals and three assists, as the Peterborough Lakers defeated the Owen Sound North Stars 14-4 in Game 2 of their MSL quarter-final.
The Lakers lead the best-of-five series 2-0.
The Lakers dominated early and often, with Rob Hellyer opening the scoring, followed by a pair from Evans, and singles by Thomas Hoggarth and Resetarits.
Hellyer opened the second-period scoring, before Jake McNabb and Johnathan Peshko breathed some life into the North Stars. But the Lakers poured it on again with Hoggarth and Hellyer netting goals.
Resetarits led the third-period domination with three more goals, while Hoggarth added two more, and Joey Cupido netted one. Jackson Webster and Peshko replied for the North Stars.
Landon Kells made 35 saves in the win.
