McNabb scores in OT to give North Stars the win over Kodiaks

Jake McNabb's second goal of the game in overtime gave the Owen Sound North Stars a 9-8 win at home on Saturday.
To get to overtime, the North Stars got goals from Johnathan Peshko with six minutes remaining, and Dante Kulas with two seconds to go in regulation to force the extra frame. Aaron Woods opened the third-period scoring.
The Kodiaks struck first in the first period thanks to Nathan Grenon, who struck again after replying to a Jackson Webster goal. Kulas and McNabb gave the North Stars a lead, before Stone Jacobs scored two-straight goals to close out the period.
The two teams exchanged goals. David Anderson scored a pair and Curtis Romancych added one. Tyler Brown replied with two goals and Jamie Hunt added one.
Kaleb Martin picked up the win between the North Stars pipes, making 45 saves. Joel Watson made 52 stops for the Kodiaks.
