Spread out attack gives Lakers a 2-0 series advantage

The Peterborough Lakers got scoring from eight different players en route to a 9-4 victory over Brooklin Lacrosse Club Thursday night at the PMC.
With the win the Lakers have a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven MSL semifinal.
In the first period, the two rivals exchanged goals. Turner Evans and Holden Cattoni scored for the Lakers, while Kyle Waters and Curtis Knight replied for BLC.
The Lakers took control of the game in the second period thanks to Austin Hasen, Adam Thistlethwaite and Turner Evans adding to the cause.
Joe Resetarits, Matt Gilray, Koleton Marquis, and Owen Hiltz scored for the Lakers in the third period, with Austin Shanks replying twice.
Doug Bchan made 52 saves for the win. Zack Higgins stopped 55 shots.
